Sep. 16th, 2006 10:02 pmI went to the Iron Chef: Oswego event thisevening. It was a benifit for the local salvation army. One of the chefs was the older brother of the girl who babysat me when I was young and I saw her there for the first time in a while, it was neat.
The secret ingredient was.....Ostrich, the audience did get to sample some things and the assistants were selected from a basket that you could put your name in when you paid to get in. I put my name in but didn't get picked, it was fun anyway. The food we got to try was very tasty, I found it more akin to steak than chicken.
